Dr. Villano, a Facial Plastic and Reconstructive surgeon practicing in Bend, OR, received his medical training at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He went on to complete an Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery residency followed by a fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the University of Rochester School of Medicine.

Prior to medical training, Dr. Villano received his undergraduate degree at the University of California at San Diego on a Navy Scholarship. Afterwards he entered the Navy Nuclear Propulsion Program where he became a nuclear submarine officer aboard the USS Haddo (SSN-604) and earned such honors as the Navy Achievement Medal with Gold Star, the Navy Expeditionary Medal, and Defense Service Medal.

Dr. Villano is a member of the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery.

Mackenzie Weygandt, a skin care specialist in Manhattan, New York, is currently pursuing her dream of becoming a surgeon while completing post-baccalaureate level research at Columbia University. Previously, she was Dr. Michael Villano’s Aesthetic Center Assistant Director, serving a role as patient care coordinator, surgical technician, and medical aesthetician. There she learned the art of medial aesthetics from skin care, to IPL treatments, to laser resurfacing. She went on to train other medical aestheticians, as well becoming an “unofficial” advisor on prominent plastic surgery website www.makemeheal.com, and www.MissJFacialPlasticsurgery.com where she has her own Q&A forum dedicated to skin care. Her professional affiliations include the Society of Dermatology Skin Care Specialists and the Organization of Facial Plastic Surgery Assistants.
